The Piano Music Studio is a private institution where I give my students the opportunity to learn precisely and properly how to play the piano. My students always strive for excellence in a comforting, encouraging and caring atmosphere that was passed down to me, from my teachers. My registration with the ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Association) gives me an active member title, which allows me to do what is listed bellow.
My program comes straight from the Royal Conservatory of Music, recognized as one of the best music programs ever established. Older students take part in RCM exams, while younger students take part in House exams. Many opportunities are presented to the students throughout the year, such as music festivals, concerts and competitions.
Close contact with parents is encouraged, this allows greater success and accomplishment which leads to confidence in the students. Every student needs to form a good practice routine, because this type of music study requires practice at home on a daily basis. Every student is asked to come prepared and punctually (see teaching policy for more information).
There are three programs that are presented to my students upon registration (as listed bellow).
-4 x 30 min. Lesson under age 6 only
-4 x 45 min.
-Theory group, 10 lesson mandatory
This summer I am offering Music History classes, which focuses on different composers and their styles of music. The classes will take place four times during the school summer break. A discount for siblings is offered both in the piano lessons and history classes.
